Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of banking services provided by Syncroni Savings ("we", "us", "our"). By opening an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding.

We reserve the right to amend these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Account Terms

To open and maintain an account with Syncroni Savings, you must be at least 18 years of age and provide accurate and complete identity verification documents as required under applicable anti-money laundering regulations. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

You must notify us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your authorisation. We may suspend or close your account at any time if we believe it is being used for fraudulent, unlawful, or harmful purposes.

3. Payment Services

Payment services are subject to the payment limits and processing times set out in our Schedule of Fees. Domestic transfers are typically processed within 2 hours; international transfers may take 1–3 business days depending on the destination country and currency.

Once a payment has been submitted and confirmed, it generally cannot be recalled. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of payee details before authorising any payment. We are not liable for payments made to incorrect account details where you provided inaccurate information.

4. Card Terms

Debit and credit cards issued by Syncroni Savings are subject to these Terms and any additional card-specific terms provided at the time of issue. Cards remain the property of Syncroni Savings and must be returned or destroyed on request.

You are responsible for all transactions made with your card until you report it lost or stolen and it is blocked. We offer zero liability protection for unauthorised transactions reported promptly through our app or customer service.

5. Fees & Charges

Our current fee schedule is available within your online banking and on our website. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before introducing new fees or increasing existing ones. Fees may be charged for international transfers, currency conversion, paper statements, and certain account services.

6. Liability

Our liability to you is limited to direct losses caused by our negligence or breach of these Terms. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special losses. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by our negligence.

We are not responsible for losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including system outages at third-party networks, acts of government, or natural disasters.

7. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
